What's new?

Firstly, Happy New Year! Secondly, thank you to everyone for their support in the six months since we launched HiddenWires. Be it advertising, content, feedback or using the site, your support has helped us grow HiddenWires into a useful and popular resource. In December 2003, 18,850 visitors requested 125,542 pages and generated 274,141 hits. With your help, we look forward to continuing this success.

We start 2004 with several announcements:

* The site has been streamlined and a site search facility has been added.

* We have an editorial calendar for 2004 that includes a monthly feature. This feature will focus on one subject and comprise several specially commissioned articles, plus an exclusive promotional opportunity. If you are interested or would like a copy of the editorial calendar, please email info@hiddenwires.co.uk or call 020 8761 1042.

* Our news headlines will be syndicated to other news services, such as Google News and NewsKnowledge, so make sure you submit your press releases to news@hiddenwires.co.uk - preferably as plain text emails without attachments.

The feature this month is Audio and we have four articles covering multiroom audio, discrete loudspeakers, servers, and mains treatment.

This month we also have two more case studies describing the winning entries of the CEDIA Lifestyles Awards for Best Media Room and Best Hidden Installation.

And on the news front, the International Consumer Electronics Show has opened in Las Vegas, USA. This has brought a flurry of announcements, many of which are included below, and more will be added over the next few days.
