Located in Lexington, KY, USA, ELAN Home Systems has designed innovative multi-room audio/video systems since 1989. ELAN systems were the first to integrate music, intercom and TV distribution features which used the homeowner’s stereos, televisions and telephones to create the whole-house entertainment experience. Elan introduces the new g! interface

g! is the new home automation interface from Elan. It provides a seamless entertainment and management experience, making home control more accessible and easy to use. All systems in the home, whether security, lighting control, thermostats and more, can be integrated and managed from a single interface.

g! boasts stylish and consistent graphics across a range of control devices including an Olé-like OLED touchpad display, iPhone, iPad, PC and new touchscreens.

g! is a perfect blend of Elan home control technologies and the IP-based control systems of sister company HomeLogic. The new product incorporates some of HomeLogic’s core software – including multi-touch technology and is compatible with all existing Elan and HomeLogic products.

g! makes life easier for you

As in the HomeLogic system from which it has evolved, one interface can control your requirements for Time/Weather, Security, Climate, Lighting, Media, Messaging, Irrigation, Video and Pool controllers.

Further capabilities such as time-based scheduling and event based commands can be added. Your system can be configured to suit the apps and sources you have in your home and can be customized to your specific needs.

It is easy to learn, easy to use and affordable, allowing you to manage your entire home with ease from wherever you are and whenever you want.

The g! Security Tab integrates your home security system, enabling flexible and easy to use remote access, interaction with other home systems, and enhanced security monitoring.

Your security system is easily managed with our award winning interface: See what zones are faulted, what zones have been bypassed, and then arm your system. Use the history view to see when doors or windows were opened, or when somebody disarmed the system.

Use the g! video application to enhance your security

View a thumbnail of each camera along with the bottom of the screen, then select the desired camera for a large view. Click the arrow buttons to move the camera, or click on the point in the image you wish to centre. For cameras with audio, select the volume level.

Simple interface allows you to find any selection by artist, album, or track. View and manage playlists you create for various occasions.

Easy-to-Use Lighting Control & Scheduling:

Automatically set home, driveway, and pathway lights to turn on and off at pre-set times enhancing atmosphere, ensuring safety, conserving energy, and saving money --- and the system automatically compensates for sunrise/sunset and daylight savings time changes!

Irrigation control easily accessed from your home – or away:

Easy, simple irrigation control means you’re more likely to keep your landscape in great condition while saving water.

Phone Management System:

Access and control your voicemail from any phone, PC or wireless tablet PC on the Internet while home or while away.
