Infrared Control from Elan

The most reliable control solutions for any environment.

Infrared is the core control technology for virtually all consumer electronic components. Custom a/v installations require highly reliable IR control of a wide array of audio and video components. Installers need to resolve the problems caused by Plasma /LCD television emissions and ambient and fluorescent light . Increasingly complex installations require IR control signals to be distributed to a growing number of sources and spread through many rooms.

Elan offers a broad range of IR products which you can install with confidence even in the most problematic environments.

Plasma -friendly IR Sensors

Feature a unique filtering system which reduces interference from ambient light sources and Plasma or LCD screens.

IRS1/IRS2 Plasma-friendly surface-mount IR sensor

Sleek, unobtrusive, and able to handle the unfriendly emissions of Plasma TVs, these IR Sensor can be surface mounted just about anywhere.

IRS3/IRS4 Plasma-Friendly Flush-Mount IR Sensors

Designed to mount flush in a cabinet or wall, the IRS3’s small footprint and low-profile bezel make it an ideal choice wherever an inconspicuous IR Sensor is needed. The 3.5mm ‘mini’ plug makes for a quick connection to ELAN IR Distribution Blocks.

The non-retail version of the IRS3, the IRS4 has bare leads in lieu of a ‘mini’ plug, making system connectivity that much easier for the installer.

IR Emitters

Elan has IR emitters for every application and all are designed for the reliable transmission of any infrared signal. Each single or dual head emitter comes with a unique docking module which stays in place in the IR window while allowing for the easy removal of the emitter when rearranging or servicing A/V components.

IRE1D Dual IR Emitter
