Elan introduces Aton technology

Elan Systems (UK) Ltd is the sole UK distributor of the new brand Aton.

ATON’s system technologies are built on years of expertise in Audio and Video Routing, Control Systems and Loudspeaker Design. The comprehensive new line of Digital Signal Routing Products, Radio Frequency and Infrared Control Systems and Architectural Speakers provides affordable and innovative house wide entertainment for consumers.

The DLA multi-room speaker level audio routers with RF and IR remote control options are an industry first. The ATON Storm Series Speakers are designed with waveguide pivoting tweeters and custom components to create a dynamic listening experience. The end-to-end Digital Audio Router with in-wall amplified touchpads and the HDR44 Video Router provide more groundbreaking solutions.

Speaker Level Audio Router

Introducing the world’s first RF & IR controlled speaker level audio router. Available in 2, 4 and 6 room configurations, ATON’s DLA Routers provide system control options that rival those of high end custom audio systems. DLA Technology gives the user control of audio in each room using a convenient RF remote, in-wall touchpad, IR receiver, or the front panel of the router. The RF remote adjusts volume and mute status, selects a customizable “sound scene,” and turns all rooms on or off from up to 200 feet away. In-wall touchpads and IR receivers control the DLA Router and connected audio components such as A/V receivers, CD players and more.

Aton Storm Series Speakers

The ATON Storm Series Speakers are designed with waveguide pivoting tweeters, custom components and the added benefit of being voiced by musicians to create a dynamic listening experience.

Ceiling and In Wall Speakers

All ceiling and in wall models feature 1” pivoting tweeters, excellent off-axis response, high power handling, custom driver materials, and network components that provide the best price/performance ratio in the industry.

Storm Series Outdoor Speakers

Designed to extend the listening experience into the Great Outdoors, the 041/O51/O61 line provides high quality sound at affordable prices for traditional stereo or mono listening areas.

Storm Series Outdoor Speakers are also ideal for use indoors. Use them as primary stereo speakers in any system, or connect them as rear surround speakers in home theatre systems.

The O62ST can also be used in areas such as hallways, laundry rooms and kitchens to provide full stereo sound in unexpected places.

Storm Series LCR Theatre Speakers

DH44 Digital Audio Router

ATON’S Distributed Audio System is an end-to-end digital multi-source, multi-zone solution for superior sound quality with no signal loss. The DH44 can distribute 4 sources into 4 zones and is expandable to 28 zones in total using DH46X expansion routers. Using high-grade analogue to digital converters, the DH44 transfers S/PDIF digital audio over Cat5 wire to all connected DHTP1 Digital Amplified Touchpads.

The DHTP1 Touchpad features a built in, high efficiency digital amplifier (30Watts RMS per channel @ 8 0hms) and requires no software programming to operate - just plug in and you’re ready to go. Once connected to the router, the touchpad can select between four system sources and a local source. For zones in which a local source is desired. such as an iPod® or another in-room audio component, simply connect the DHSIP Wallplate to DHTP1 Touchpad via Cat5 wire, plug in the local source and select it from the touchpad.

Finally, digitally amplified audio is passed from the touchpad to in-room speakers over standard speaker wire to produce sound of exceptional quality.

HDR44 Video Router

The HDR44 4 Source, 4 Zone High Definition Video Router and R44WP HD Receive Wall Plates provide the ability to view up to 4 different video sources in up to 8 separate areas (with additional HDR44 Chassis) of the home for total flexibility and convenience.

ATON’s R44IRM Slimline IR System Remote (included) provides control of zone and source selection, etc. Use the R44IRM or download discrete IR codes from the ATON website (www.atonhome.com) to learn source and zone commands into 3rd party remotes for even greater control options of the HDR44.

The HDR44 uses CAT-5 cabling, making it reliable and easy to install. Any video source with digital or analogue outputs can be connected directly to the HDR44. R44WP HD Receive Wall Plates are then connected to the HDR44 using 2 CAT-5 cables.
