Showcase Rako Controls offers push-button mood lighting control Products and Services
Until recently installation of the necessary controls has meant fundamental re-wiring but Rako Controls is changing all that. With its wireless data communication, CAT5 data cables are eliminated and discrete dimmer modules can be mounted in-line with conventionally wired lighting circuits. In addition table and free-standing lamps can now be simply incorporated into a scheme by wiring a module in-line with the flex.
Further advantages to the Rako system are that being modular it can be expanded at a later date and being wireless, it provides the ideal solution for a retrofit project. Put simply, Rako offers everything that a Smart Home needs from lighting control but with an unprecedented ease of installation. New Products: Rako launches the new Pill Dimmer
The unique, 250w, back-box dimmer which requires no neutral and is designed to fit in a standard UK or European back-box means it is no longer necessary to gain access to ceiling voids or awkward wiring locations. Rako combines wireless lighting controls with home security
Where the timeclock really finds its niche is when it replays Ôholiday-mode'. Simply set the timeclock to record your regular lighting activity around the house for a two week period, and then whilst you take a holiday the timeclock will simulate normal occupancy by replaying your lighting usage - all this, with the peace of mind that your home is safe. Recent enhancements to the MB1 time-clock are Macro programming features. Programmed using the intuitive RASOFT software, Macros allow the time-clock to listen to commands sent from Rako panels and use them to trigger a series of programmable steps. Macros can be active before or after set times of the day or during night/day only and can be used to create Ôpathways of light' or to stop/start looping sequences. Rako's alternative Rack Option
RAK-4s can be stacked with an innovative clip-together mechanism to form 8, 12 or 16 way cabinets and linked to an Rx-Link receiver module, located anywhere in the building, still allows Rako wall panels to communicate without data cabling. The RAK-4 system makes a more practical solution for the larger project or when it is necessary to wire back to one location but can still be used seamlessly with Rako's existing range of modules and accessories.
